Aligning business goals with the product

Pomocup device is synced with a smartphone or a tablet, providing the real-time feedback. The performance data is accessible even on the move.

We went through a number of iterations to come up with legible mobile and web interfaces for convenient use.

Customers can access their reports anywhere and anytime. Moreover, they can get interactive reports, share their progress with friends and analyze their tour in detail too.

Apart from calculating the usual speed, distance covered and the time taken, the device analyzes all activity metrics necessary for ski mountaineers.

Smartphone Sync

Easy syncronization with a smartphone or a tablet allows users to view and share their transition times (kick turns, skins on/off, skis on/off backpack, etc.) and performance metrics like power, step length, glide and push time.

Activity tracking

The device detects and calculates the duration of the most important activities performed during the tour: sealskin removal, skis on the backpack or kick turn.We supplemented the data with the customized icons to make the results filtering more convenient.

Tour card

A single skimo tour is designed in a card view for displaying information in bite-sized sections. Users can have a quick look at their touring results timeline.

They proposed designs and then refined them in an iterative feedback process with our team. Eleken delivered full designs—including UX improvements—for the mobile app and responsive web platform. Our company developed a smart sensor to launch alongside the mobile and web app. We implemented the designs in the final product and were very happy with Eleken’s work.
